Leonie Andrews is a visual artist working in textiles and print making. Her work is characterized by its exploration of the themes of location and how, as individuals, we connect to a particular place. Since completing her studies at the Australian National University School of Art she has developed her ‘critically exploratory eye’, to record and draw attention to suburban life.
Leonie’s work has been exhibited in the Australian Capital Territory and in regional galleries across Australia. In 2016 she was awarded an Asialink grant to undertake a two month long residency at the Youkobo Art Space in Tokyo.
